TV Cap
I thiink I found my personal TV Cap, it's at 1500. If any of my teams get over that, they seem to get torn apart rather soon after breaking that ciling. Anyone else have personal caps which their teams don't seem to stay long above?

Some races just suffer when they get higher up, as other teams have higher basic Strength but the same number of skills.

My teams seem to mostly float in the 1900-2100 range. I can get them higher, but then SE eats all my money and I can't replace players who die.

I can't keep teams 1500 though. That's just too small in general.

I'd say any of my teams in the 1100-2000+ range have a pretty good chance of failure. I blame it on coaching.

Part of it's probably because you're a fairly new coach & Fumbbl is a steep learning curve. When I first started, I found it hard to maintain teams over that level as well. Playing at higher levels is harder, because players have more skills, which makes the game more complex, and you also generally come up against better coaches at higher TV. With the more fragile teams, it also takes a bit of experience to learn how to keep them alive at higher levels.

Maybe you also have too many teams and you're spreading your playing time too thinly? Now that you've played a couple of hundred games, perhaps you could consider specialising in one or two races for a while, so that you can explore their strategies in more depth and build them up to a higher TV?

i would second Jelly Belly's statement. I find it really hard to deal with any teams over 1500TV except my undead which i have almost 150 games with. I would suggest finding the race you enjoy/have most success with and try specializing with them for awhile.
