I still miss Cusi
It's been over seven years now since Cusi passed away. Still think about him quite often, and I miss him dearly. Since we can have our personal blogs nowadays I figured I'd use mine for a good purpose.

I'll start pasting here some lines from Wuhan's profile page about Cusi, because they describe him much better than anything I can write. I hope Wuhan doesn't mind me doing so. Apologies otherwise.

I’ll mis’m cause he was a great guy.
A fellow brother, Someone to bitch about the ‘tude of La women. Knew the finer points of a rum and coke. And kept Mnemon in line with his halibut.
Months ago, Christer announced that Cusi had the most friends on his buddy list. And he was always here. Making buddies, talking up the chat room, having a good time, and by association bringing others his mood of friendship, and fun times.
Why I’ve been on fumbbl a long time now, my buddy list is short, and people I look forward to seeing on line are also on a short list. But Cusi, a worthy friend, is someone I’ll always be looking for seeing online now.
Arrr. To be less than articulate, I’ll miss you Cusi.

That's pretty much perfect in my opinion. But I'll add a few things myself.

Cusi made FUMBBL a beter place with his presence. Not only by being the first editor in chief of the GLN. Not only because of his daily work as part of the admin staff. Firsrt and foremost it was because of his attitude towards others. He offered a warming word and a helping hand for newcomers and that by itself did more good for the site than many people can imagine. Stood up for total unknonws if someone was harrasing them on irc or whatever. And generally improved the chat's mood with his usual barter. I think there is a lesson there that many of us could learn from.

I am fortunate to have been closer to him than most of the coaches at the time. Spent many hours talking to him both in public channels and by private convos. We had many laughs and a generally great time.

Thanks for everything my friend. You won't be forgotten.

Dirunitas vixi tantus piscis!

He was the best.

I left a comment on the legacy page a few years back, and his mother got in contact with me. We talked at great length about how loved and respected here, her son was. He is still listed on my buddies, just because i can't bear to let him go.

I will never let the memory of Cusi die, as long as this site remains

I haven't thought about him for a long time. But I agree that he was a high quality member of the staff.

His impact as editor of GLN and support for the [L] divisions were especially impressive.

I miss cusi too. Only ever played a few bloodbowl games with him, but he introduced me to the online version of Settlers of Catan. And I must have played a hundred games of that with him.

Never got to meet him in person, but a great guy online, and I do miss him. I just thought of him last month when I was playing settlers at a game store.

Miss you bro.
