Forgive me, FUMBBL, for I have sinned. It has been five years since my last confession (not concession... never concession).

The one little bub we had turned into two, which turned into three. A career began. We built a house, lived there for a bit. Then built another one. Moved twice. Babies were popping out everywhere. Dramas, dramas, dramas.

Played lots of eurogames, converted a bunch of people to Agricola, Settlers, others. One evening found myself wondering what was going on at FUMBBL, where I'd spent 79 glorious games, and had many pleasant evenings chatting with new friends around the world.

Well, most of those friends have moved on, and my time is limited to chat these days, but I got in a game the other day. Managed an upset win (! Wooo!). Times have changed, new ruleset, gorgeous new client, looks like a new site. But it felt a little bit like coming home. Many of the same names I remember from before, even if I've never met you personally.

Well done to the elder statesmen of FUMBBL for continuing to improve what was an already great online gaming experience. Looking forward to helping test the new client out - if the past is anything to go by, we will not be disappointed.

Thanks for the hours (and hours) of fellowship - couldn't think of a more pleasant bunch of psychos to spend time with. See you on the pitch!
