50 games in R
With 50 games in R what have I learned so far?
  1. There are a lot of players better than I am, but every so often luck favours me and I can beat them.
  2. CR doesn't really matter. There are a lot of coaches with CR under 140 who have way more fun than the coaches with high CR. The guy who seems to have the most fun has a CR less than 130.
  3. I'm better with Skaven than most other teams. I'm getting better with orcs, but have a way to go. For some reason, winning High Elf strategies are a foreign concept - perhaps I need to study how other players do it.
  4. Spectating is a good way to learn, but replays of games you lose might be better.
  5. Some times you have to suck it up and take a serious beating on the pitch, but Skaven still have a chance to win as long as they have a couple GR's left.

Cool. I recommend Ogres for fun but also because there's nothing like playing the worst race out there for improving your game :)

Starting with joke teams doesn't help to improve your game if you are new to BB, it's better starting with a solid tier 1 team.

Im with MattDakka here. Think advising novices to play ogres or stunties or something is just the way to make a coach quit (he also wont learn anything, normally).

Grats on the first 50 mikere! \o/

4. Is a good point imho.

Some CR 170 plus coaches are fun, others aren't. Same goes for the sub-150 segment.
Your opinion of them will also change: the first time I played Carlo_Pellegatti, for instance, I didn't think it was fun. =D
