Kill My Teams
I've come to the conclusion that I have far too many League teams that I never get the chance to play, so I'm extending an invitation to every coach to maim and kill them into retirement. As such, every time I go on gamefinder for the foreseeable future, all my League teams will go with me.

This process could take several weeks. However, I'm confident that by the time I'm sick of watching them die, my Overview page will be much less crowded.

Edit: To be clear, they're not just going to roll over and die. They're going to put up as much of a fight as they can muster.

You can always enter them in a league. That way you'll get to play with 'm again.

Erm... so you want them to die but will be playing normally? Aren't you then really just going to be playing Bloodbowl!?!?

Same thing I want for my ranked teams (only got 1 left now), not really trying hard though.

Anyway, you could try to join the Congregation, which seems to be a big league for old (and new) teams. I'm sure there are plenty of people there willing to stomp over your teams.

Warmaster: Just trying to make it clear that I'm not trying to arrange in-game events or anything like that.

Of course, you will need to get straight in your own mind, at what point does a team warrant retirement? Is it when the team drops below 11, 10 or 9 players?

You have a couple of teams that could possibly already warrant retirement, but if you want them to be next to dead (3-5 players) then you will probably find your high AV teams will never retire.

Also, it's not always that easy to get a team into that state, because below a certain TR you would be playing teams without killing skills and regardless of how 'hard' you play, your TR will actually be going up.

Perhaps the tougher thing to do would be to choose which teams you actually like and just retire the rest and, if there are a few teams that you are sitting on the fence with, then put them through the gauntlett ... if they survive and grow, keep them, but if they take damage and shrink, then throw them out.

Excellent! I enjoy playing my league teams (I probably have too many) but there are so few opponents in gamefinder with league teams. I will be happy to play you whenever I see you and help you achieve your goal. I need to prepare for some tournaments in March anyway.

As the mighty Shraaaaag mentioned below here, you should visit The Congregation!

http://fumbbl.com/FUMBBL.php?page=group&op=view&group=6806

It's an open format where you can either enter a new team or an old one that might be gathering dust after some ancient stranded league. There is several different kinds of tournaments running, and you enter which ever one you feel like.

Have a look and I promise you a whole lot of fun games and coaches.

The group reside at #Congregation on IRC.
