Our League
Come try some new teams with other people who listen to Get the Ref Podcast, Alberta's Blood Bowl Round Up. We are trying some new rosters with a variety of league play and tournament play. Usually, for each competition, everyone will play each other coach once, at an expected pace of at least one game a week.
If the competition features a round robin league, the top four teams will qualify for playoffs. These top four teams are randomly seeded in a knockout tournament format where there is overtime. To the winner goes the spoils!
If it is a tournament, it will be a swiss-style tournament where the top player is left with the best record at the end!
SEASON ONE CHAMPS - Scott (knightknight_16) playing a Dryad team called the Tuckwood Treedom Fighters
SEASON TWO CHAMPS - Ty (tylepko) playing a Northern Nippon team called the Monst@rs
SEASON THREE CHAMPS - Brandon (Tin_Smasher) led the way with his Mish-A-Gun Orc-A-Rines, a Savage Orc team that beat us all up!
SEASON FOUR CHAMPS - Barry (frzntz) smashed up the competition with his Norse Dwarf team, the McNally Grasshoppers!
VIRAL SMACKDOWN 2020 - Dave (Apethemin) played his Ethereal team, the Crown Leapers, like a fiddle, dancing his way to the title with stellar defence. Fear, thy name is Lillith!
LAYABOUT SHAKEDOWN 2020 - Tom (Loynster) ran roughshod over the competition with his Slayer team, the United Gingdom. As a reward, he submitted a team for play, the STORMCAST!
SUMMERSLAM 2020 - Bob (Ferick) took the trophy with his Half-Elf team, "Unwanted Mistakes" which featured some muscle and finesse in the way of Griff Oberwald.
SEASON FIVE - Bob continues his streak with a Border Princes team, the Salty Bastards. He rode them to an 11/3/1 record, besting the Orcs of Unusual Size in the finals by a score of 3-0.
SEASON SIX - Bill wins this season with is Wood Elf team, the Leaping Foolz as they dodged, ducked dipped, dove and dodged their way to a near-perfect season.
SEASON SEVEN - Our current season, a six-game Swiss-Style tournament as we anxiously await the release of BB2020 on FUMBBL
