USA League is a multi-tournament league. It's a league for people who want to play stunty matches the way it's meant to be played! New teams and coaches are always welcome (as long as the team meets the league requirements)!

GENERAL INFORMATION

In USA League, your team's mission is to play as many open games as possible within the group, to spice up the league, tournaments based on team rating will be organized.

The fluff rule: We are expecting you to write some background information for your USA League team(s) as the league processes. This is not compulsory but we hope you have at least used your imagination while creating your team and player names. You are in no way required to make up fluff before joining the league.

Some examples of "fluff":
1.) Naming the players carefully (especially nice if your team has got a theme)
2.) Writing a team bio (about your team, your players or their backgrounds)
3.) Uploading a custom team picture (very much recommended, as it shows up on the pitch!)
4.) Individual player bios and custom player pictures (completely optional but always nice to see :)
5.) Writing match reports for your USA League games (no one bothers to do this for every match but it would be really nice if all the playoff matches were commented)

JOINING THE LEAGUE

Team creation guidelines:
We accept any kind of team rating as long as the team has been created from Unranked division.
Feel free to create weird looking teams (ex: with no BG although you could have included some) as specific tournaments will be created to train them.

LEAGUE RULES

1) TEAMS PARTICIPATING IN USA LEAGUE MAY ONLY PLAY GAMES WITHIN THE LEAGUE !

2) FAIR PLAY. Keep it nice and family friendly whatever happens. Conceding will not be penalized although completing games would be highly appreciated.

3) RULES CONCERNING THE REDLINE / DEADLINE SYSTEM
- The redline/deadline dates will be shown on tournament’s page. Whenever a new round starts, there will also be a tournament PM including these dates.

4) Only 1 Dirty Player skill per team is allowed. If multiple DPs are found in a roster, the coach has to retire all but one of them before the team is allowed to play any more USAL matches. Exception: Hiring a DP star player in a tournament which allows Star players can bring your DP amount to 2.

5) Each coach may have as many teams in USA League but they have to be from different races. Each coach may only enter 1of their teams into each tournament.

6) You can retire any of your team at any time as long as the team isn’t involved in a tournament.
If the team is involved in a tournament ,the coach needs to inform the staff members beforehand to avoid trouble!

7) If a USA League coach is about to leave off, he needs to inform the staff members beforehand to avoid trouble!
- If you are going to be offline for just a few days and it will have an effect on your current and/or next match, send PM to your redline/deadline coord and your opponent(s) before leaving. This way, you will avoid getting negative points for your possible unplayed matches and your teams won't be kicked out from the current tournament while you are gone.
- If you are going off for more than a month, you always need to send a FUMBBL site private message to a member of the staff.

HOW TO JOIN AN UPCOMING TOURNAMENT?

To join one of the many USA League tournaments, you first of all need to have a USA League team. In addition, many USA League tournaments have got minimum and/or maximum TR limits which you will need to take into account while applying your team for a tournament. You are allowed to sign up into an upcoming tournament even if you have not yet finished all your matches in the current tournament(s)!

Some tournaments will use additional rules or modified rules compared to the list of rules found on this group page. In this case, the tournament rules override generic league rules.

General sign-up guidelines:
- To sign up for a tournament, you need to apply your USA League team into a separate tournament group page (list included below this guide). You do not need to send a private message to anyone when you apply (that's called spamming)! The only case in which you need to send a site PM is when you have got an important USA League -related question. These should be addressed to the staff.
- Tournament-specific rules (TR limits, etc.) will be displayed on the tournament group page. Be sure to read these carefully before you apply with a team!
- Even though the tournament has got a separate application page, the actual tournament will take place in the USA League group page.
- When the tournament starts, all participating teams will be approved into the tournament page to allow the sending of tournament PMs. Do NOT leave the group with the participating team or you won't receive deadline dates as site PMs. The tournament page will be deleted as soon as the tournament in question is finished.
- Maximum of one team per coach per tournament. So, if you have got a second team in USA League, it needs to join a different tournament than the other one. Usually, this should not cause any significant problems but sometimes, e.g. due to Max. TR limits, it might be so that you can only play with one of your teams at a time. Choose carefully which team you will apply with in that case.

Tournament Types:
USA Rookie Roosters (TR100 OPEN ROUND ROBIN)
USA YOUNGSTERS (TR150+ ROUND ROBIN)
USA VETS (TR+ to be defined; ROUND ROBIN)
USA PRO (INSTANT KO Tournament)

Special tribute to Karhumies as most of the above fluff is taken from his GL page.
