RULES

Humans only roster for now.

8 teams for test season alpha 16 teams for test season beta (alpha & beta) - [Teams will be reset for season 1]

Teams may only hire players from the Boards
*NO hiring any players w/o commish consent
*NO hiring 0 skill players - You may only hire JOURNEYMEN who skill in their 1st game

All new teams start with 8- 1 skill players - 2 linemen may have a doubles skill. The rest of the team will be built in the draft.

1.5M starting salary cap (alpha) RATION IT FOR THE SEASON
*All starting roster spots / apoth / RRs / etc.
*All replacement players
*All inducements

All teams gold will be reset for the next season's salary cap - ending the season with gold is wasted

NA time compatible or flexibility is expected to schedule games.

7 day weeks ending Monday at midnight. Unresolved games will be forfeit on Tuesday.

All teams must carry a minimum of 2 RRs and an apothecary to meet league requirements


PRACTICE SQUAD

You may have a roster of up to 16 players. up to 4 of those players may be designated as "practice squad." Those players are removed from the UDFA eligibility list, and are part of your team, but are not part of your game time roster (TV)

You may move a player up to your team roster at any time there is an open spot for them, but they can NOT be sent back to the practice squad once activated (they have a good union.)
eg. A team with 4 blitzers 3 healthy and 1 MNG would NOT be able to activate a practice squad blitzer without releasing one of their current players. (Your team may not rehire that player until other teams have a chance to pick them up)


DRAFT

8 round draft (Order is all jacked up intentionally, the teams picking 8-16 get a slight advantage over draft for missing out on the top picks - NOT A SNAKE DRAFT)

Trades are allowed (commish may rescind trades which look like collusion)

Day 1 Draft - Draft Room IRC
***1st 4 picks per team to be announced.
***Show up and pick your players or send the commish a list for best available picks
***Draft will extend if all coaches are present or until last list is exhausted.
***Repeat consecutive draft rounds until completed


UDFA (Undrafted Free Agents)

Any unsigned or released player will be on the UDFA Board

UDFA will be frozen while a replacement coach is being introduced into the league in the even that a coach leaves mid season.

NO injured players will be put onto the UDFA board. Injured players retire from the league when retired.

Replacement signings will be assigned on Tuesdays unless otherwise noted.

*When a player is offered a contract by multiple teams, a bidding war for their service can commence.
The team with worst record is given priority selection of a player
1st tiebreaker = Team with lowest cumulative player value including practice squad.
2nd tiebreaker = Team who submitted request first
If the team who is not given priority wishes, they may offer the player more. Offers must be in round increments (10k,20k,30k, no 5k offers). This will be offered each team until no team is willing to pay more than the last offer.


Tourney Schedule

(alpha season )
2-4 team division
4 team playoff
Winner gets home field advantage over runner up (50k for a card)
Neutral Championship field

(beta season)
2- 8 team divisions (7)
Round robin followed by a 6 team playoff.
Division winner gets bye and home field advantage (50k for a Card)
Division runner up gets home field advantage (50k for a Card)
Wildcard goes to best 2 remaining records
Neutral Championship field


Free Agency

ALL Players must be re-signed or released at the beginning of each season after the first. (including practice squad players) (cost comes out of that seasons salary cap)
*Seasoned teams will have less available cash than younger teams in season

Players re-signing fees are figured as follows (combined value of all players being re-signed rounded up)
found under the G stat line - no adjustments made
0-10 games = 10% of TV (90k lineman contributes a cost of 9k)
11-20 games = 20% of TV (140 blitzer contributes a cost of 28k)
21-30 games = 30% of TV (110 thrower contributes a cost of 33k)
31-40 games = 40% of TV (240 ogre contributes a cost of 96k)
41+ games = 50% of TV (140 lineman contributes a cost of 70k)
-5% TV cost/permanent injury
eg. 0-10 game -ma, -av blitzer costs nothing to re-sign

Any released players will be placed into the draft pool

Players released during Free agency will credit the team a portion of their TV (-5% credit/permanent injuries)
0-15 games = 25%
16+ games = 50%
eg. 0-15 game -ma, -av blitzer 140TV would generate a credit of 21k
eg. 16+ game --ma, -av blitzer 140TV generates a credit of 56k


Re-signed and released players are combined for a Re-signing 154k in players and releasing two player for a credit of 82k would generate a total cost of 72k which would cost 80k from your next season's salary cap.


Trades

Trade deadline is the end of the week 5 games.

Any and all trades are allowed within the confines of the league.
