#13 Peasant AJ – Dead (RIP)
What a game... In the first half I was good on my to the endzone. Miscounted and the Elfs in Orc-armor reclaimed the ball and scored.

In the second half I was kicking, so it didnt look good. But my opponent forgot the sun, and tried a 6+ pass which failed. I recovered the ball, and after two turns bad luck on both sides I managed to score.

We both had 2 turns left, it was all or nothing. The orcs run down both flanks and grabbed the ball. I marked some players, but my gobo's and bulls were send to the enemy endzone.

My opponent blocked an orc free and tried to pass, again a 6+ needed to be accurate. He didnt make it, but the ball seemed out of reach for me. With 2 GFI's my pass gobo managed to pick up the ball, threw a long pass to another gobo, which after burning a RR got the ball. A 4+ hand off on a bull succeeded, so only the GFI would stand in the way.

As I wanted to skill up a bull, I took the risk of 3 over 2 GFI's. He managed to score, and Nuffle blessed him with +ma on his fourth skill.

Very well played Wraith, the last turn was just dumb luck, and there shouldnt be a winner. Cya on the pitch!

I had forgot about the sun all game. I must buy sun-glasses for my boys. Otherwise it was a pretty tight game, I tried some risky manuevers in the second half and paid for it, on the first pass I totally forgot about the sun and Woodstock capitilized on my mistake...then I went for the win and ended up with a loss instead. The latter part of the second half was pretty bad for me, double 1's on a dodge two turns in a row and skull reroll skull on the third turn, followed by two more 1's on the KO recovery roll...put me in bad shape and kind of why I went for the passing game. I was down man power and lost the ability to control the running game.

Woodstock played a hell of a game, I pretty much dominated the first half and he came through with the well deserved win. Luck only counts for so much in this game, his conservative play and ability to convert my mistakes into points were key here. I look forward to the rematch bud.
