“Desperation football was the name of the game for the Stingers in this match. After securing two handicaps which had no beneficial impact and everyone passing their niggles, the Elves knew they were in for a rough time.
The Stingers spent a long time on defence urged on by the defensive co-ordinator never to give up, and tried several desperation plays and probably too many one-dice blocks. Our TD came after a clever tactic of hiring a gnome Illusionist to give the false impression that the Crowes actually had the ball. Fooled the Elves for most of the first half too.
The paper-thin Armour of the Stingers failed to ward off the sharp claws of the Crowes and towards the end of second half only 3 elves remained on the pitch.

It was a fun game, thanks Oz. You are a good sportsman, much appreciated, and great opponent.

3pts - Gone, Yes you have to give it to Gone. Despite having a small concussion for most of the 1st half. He didn't bonehead once with his handicap I put on him. Ran a strong 30 for the winning TD and survived all desperate blitzes against him on the way. What a champion!
