“For a paper versus scissors game, this was a bloody affair. The apoths were working overtime, saving a death and a niggle, but the injuries were coming too fast for them. Most notable statistic from the game is the fouls, or lack there-of.... Where did the ol' Miyuso go that we know and love?
As the 3-0 scoreline may suggest, yes there was a blitz on the kick-off by the Fossils, quickly converting a 1-0 lead to 2-0. Scoring is not the problem, or even getting SPP on the Saurii and Kroxigor (slow and painful as it is), it's keeping the big fella's alive. Skinks seem to live forever on this team, but not the “tough nuts”. Coach ArtaXerxes scratches head some more.
Twanlows:
3 votes - #1 Alan McIndoe - really a key blitzer as well as catcher. His play of the game was a 4 dodge and pickup from 2 tacklezones. Unfortunately he failed the last (easy) dodge to run away and score. Perhaps the turning point of the game.
2 votes - #2 Tony Armstrong - managed the ball well, but also was in the thick of the blocking action. This +ag thrower has no selfish desire to protect himself. A model in bravery (or stupidity... something anyway).
1 vote - #15 Wayne McPherson - did the blitzer thing well.”
