#14 Stooly McFin – Broken Ribs (MNG)
#14 Stooly McFin – Smashed Knee (NI)
'He who rolls the least dice will win', went completely out the window this match.

Berg went to the well to an unbelievable depth in this match. I've never seen so many rolls and here goes moves all coming off. Berg felt that he wasn't that lucky!!! watch the replay ;)

The skinks were some sort of longbeard/wardancer hybrid which should be band and without block the saurus didn't put a foot wrong.

This was a very, very unlucky performance by the Clan, which with all the dice the Handbags were rolling would have gone the other way about 7 out of 10 time. Guess this was just one of those times.

2 nuffle jobs in a row. The Clan are playing like the Welsh rugby team.

Berg is a pleasant enough coach and I'm looking forward to the rematch sometime cos those sort of rolls don't come around to often ;)

Thanks for the game.

Berg c'mon man you're telling a few porky pies there mate ;)

Shame on you ;)

With the wizard I figured the sooner he was used the better, if I had gone in field it would have given better odds for your players to catch. Constant moaning?? Would be nice to have a transcript of the chat on that ;). C'mon buddy atleast be truthfull when you luck out.

"The better I get, the luckier I get"....hmm there are quite a few coaches, not to forget an entire statistics fraternity who would disagree with you on that one ;)

1-0 up so far, here's to the rematch mate. Let's see if you can roll as many dice next time and still get a result ;)

------

Taking this a bit seriously aren't you?

"If I had a few dollars for every time someone has yelled "you lucky bastard" (insert monthy pythonesk bystander here) I wouldn't have to use cheap soap!"

You got shares in rabbits feet? Rematch is gonna be sweeeet.

Don't forget to wash behind the ears. Be clean when your lizzies hit the skids.

Always nice to hear from a gracious looser.

M'Kari had a lot of nice rolls, but left himself open too often. I had a wizard that made sure his guy alone downfield did not score (why was he at the sideline anyway?) - nothing to do with luck.

My break tackle sauri could dodge - yes... break tackle!

My skinks could block when the had a lot of assistance, and sidestep might have taken him a bit by surprise.

We had a good game, only made better by M'Kari's constant cries of "UNBELIEVABLE" and "You're so lucky" - sweet sweet salty tears made it a match to remember!

And hey - I might be lucky - 'cause the better I get, the luckier I get... wonder how that works ;)

Hehe

I never whine about luck when my dice aren't hot, and I allways have great fun when others do!

Of cource there were rolls that i made even though the odds were against it, but that goes for both of us - if I felt that I had "lucked out" I would admit it, but I have seen far better days than this one. If I had a few dollars for every time someone has yelled "you lucky bastard" (insert monthy pythonesk bystander here) I wouldn't have to use cheap soap!

The fact is, that - yes I take chances, make dice rolls and go for glory even if I don't in the strickest sense have to - and hey - more often than not it works.

The same statistics fraternety would you are talking about (talk about boring frat parties...) would also tell you of stocastic equalling (or something to that effect), and if i should believe it everytime someone called me lucky I am looking at some horrible years ahead of me!

Anyways - I'm looking forward to the next bout. 1 up so far. Cheers!
