“Another nailbitter for the Double Double as they continue their winnning start to the season. Some credit for this win must go to the Black Crowes who left the KPR boys in no fit state for blood bowl. The Woodies once again got off to a great start capitising on some early errors from Elandrel Swifwind. This coupled with some good defencive blocking set up a nice 2-0 lead at halftime. But credit goes to Annachie whose half time team talk really inspired the Rangers. 2 quick TDs of there own left the scores delicately placed at 2-2. The worrying thing as that all 4 scores in the game had come from the kicking team (very un elf like!). With the game on the line Holmsy managed to buck this trend and post the winner for the WDDs.
Kirsty the team phyiso is also happy to report that apart from plenty of bruises there were no major injuries to report. More good new come straight from the horses mouth midweek as Hangers Size 32 informed fans he would be back for the big 3rd round clash agaisnt the Asgardians. " He is fit to play, his ankle will be havinly tapped and may effect his movemebt a little but otherwise he is a 100% good to go"
