Was an enjoyable game that could have gone either way really and the score could have been higher for either team with more luck at the right times. A great line up of Saurus which all proved troublesome at one time or another during the match.

3 Points. Vrool. The best of the Saurus - blitzed frequently and with effect. He was always near the action and a constant disruption to my well-laid plans.
2 Points. Balljuggler. What a great ball retriever! Made some telling runs to scoop up the loose ball and secure it for his side.
1 Point. Hard to seperate the Saurus but I give it to Parbag as the most effective blocker, his tackle skill making him more of a menace.

The game started perfectly. Numerous Sinister Duskriders players were bowled over by a flood of spectators (only Erool II got in the way of the flood) and the Fossils pick up the ball and made a safe cage in SD territory. The Duskriders tried to cover, but the TD was score all too easy. The the tide turned.
The start of going pear shaped was when Ballnasher did a groin sprain while trying to GFI to place a TZ on Thrower Duskwind Strongarm who had run the ball deep. After some minor push and shuffle, Duskwind Strongarm made the pass to Slyblade Spite IV to score. It was almost 2-1 at half-time except that Darkblood Dreadwing fell over trying to over extend hi run to the try-line.
The Fossils looked to have things going their way at the start of the 2nd half with the kick only just making it into Duskrider territory. The Fossils even claimed the ball, but the awesome speed and strength of witch-elf Demonette Nightshade on the blitz created good pressure. Eventually Direbringer Duskcreep blitzed the ball out and the 5th skink was off the field. The game slowly disintegrated till Darkmoon BlackKnife V finally scored.
With little time on the clock, the Fossils tried to rally. But alas Direbringer Duskcreep with his abnormal ag dodged into the cage and blitz Ratpoker over, securing the win for the Duskriders. Well done coach Longshanks.
