Umbrae managed a heroic win against hard-hitting (and fouling) lizards. Vanguard did his thing first half, an 8-turn score with lots of fouls (damn that ref!). 2nd half the lizard wizard (i'm a poet and i din't know it) gave the lizards an excellent chance to score 2-0 and finish the game, but that was when the heroics started. Umbrae held off what looked like a certain score, mainly thanks to Blitzer Ebon, and turned the ball back around, scoring 1-1 in the last turn. Casualties were high, but Umbrae got to receive in overtime, giving us a chance. The plan was to stall the lizards by spreading them out, and it worked beautifully, even though Umbrae lost some more players. The winning TD was scored in the last turn.”
