“Great game, and a damn bloody one.
I started defending and taking casualties over casualties. Greatest didn't help, leaving me with 10 (or less) men on the pitch almost all game. Mnenon played real well and scored with relative ease in the last turn of the first half.
I scored back in turn 2 second half, but with an incredible amount of luck (-2d block and no reroll, needing a push or better).
After that, pain struck. While defending with all I had, I lost my Ogre and was down to 7 men on the pitch. Things looked grim when Mnemon rolled a double skull on a block followed by another double skull on the next one. That was my only chance and I took it with the (usual) amount of luck. 2d block on the ball, a nice scatter, and my catcher running for his life with the ball!
The zons tried to stop him but failed, and I scored the most unexpected of all tds in turn 7 second half, for the lead.
The game ended when mnemon failed his last pass at 4+.
I must admit it was a great game that Mnemon deserved to win or at least tie. All I can say in my defence is that I never gave up trying to defend, putting tackle zones and deploying to make his cage more and more difficult to control. Dunno if it's enough to deserve a win, probably not. Dice decided otherwise tho.
Great game and a great coach who makes it to my white list.

I only win 39% of my matches anyway, so you are just following the general trend :p.
Cass wise though ... this was impressive. On either side. Can't remember a game outside of stunty league that featured five rips - but at least the apoths worked.”
