TWAHNLOW VOTES

3 Votes - #7 Oncomin Truk
At the head of every charge, Oncomin Truk proved very troublesome for Carlton's defence to stop. He's simply my favourite player on this team and always gives me good value in our matchups. Keep on comin', Oncomin! ;-)

2 Votes - #11 Brik Skithaus
Knockin' the Duke cold is worth a couple of votes in my books. With this single handed effort he turned the game around for Bashen. Too late unfortunately, but still as clear a turning point in any game I've seen.

1 Vote - #2 Yur Eyegouger
Black Orc can score! Love it. :-D

This was always going to be a tough game, and Captain Grippa regrets not acquiring the services of a star to counter the incredible talents of that damn Snakefield.

Snakey scored quickly at the outset though, and the Crash started to hope for a grind up the field for 1-1 and a second half much like it.

But the day was a right stinker and three Black orcs plus star Blitzer Oncomin Truk, "victorious" drinking game champs from in the night before, had severe hydration problems as the Crash took the field hoping for that leveller.

This left the rookie goblin to do the dirty work on field as well (his normal duties involve cleaning the match kit, and stealing kegs of booze) which was not an ideal state of affairs.

At the half the Crash were 2-0 down but a cool breeze helped restore their brawling talent to its state. By this time United were so full of pluck they hit the Crash offence with an onside-kick-and-blitz which yet again left Snakey in posession. But the Crash showed that with their Black Orcs handy not even a sneaky Snakefield can stop them - forcing the Duke to flee infield and try to switch play with a wild pass. The Crash scambled desperately for the loose ball as Skithaus laid on the only hit Snakefield took all day, knocking the star out cold. And so the battle turned, and so the Crash managed to sneak in their consolation score.

Twahnlows

3 Votes - Duke Snakefield
Honestly he deserved all 6 votes himself, and all 6 of Twahn's votes too. His brilliance was evident in every play of the game until Skithaus stretched him out on the turf.

2 Votes - Max Stamage
When the troll Skithaus went to clobber Stamage, Stamage clobbered back. Skithaus would have been finished if he'd not regenerated. This kid has a future.

1 Vote - Rainbow Jay
For knowing to just give the ball to Snakey, and doing so accurately every time.
