#11 Dourgrim Plaguebite – Dead (RIP)
#13 Demonette Nightshade – Dead (RIP)
Another typical Riders display. Outbashed but in with a chance at the end (whch they proceeded to muff just to mock Demonettes sacrifice). We enjoyed ourselves in the dugout all too often and couldn't put anyone there ourselves. Second game running a debutante

Twahnlows

3 Points - Bone Craha. ST4 Blodgers are a pain, side steping makes it worse. Was safe with the ball and couldn't get effective blocks on her.
2 Points - Throat Ripper. DT has annoying, injured one of my blitzers getting away from her when I had the potential to blitz the ball carrier..
1 Point - Loony Tossa. Nice stats, annoying dodger.

#14 Jaw Smakka – Broken Ribs (MNG)
#14 Jaw Smakka – Smashed Knee (NI)
SWL Season XV - Premier League - Round 5

Well, this was a brutal game for the Duskriders. After the ork fans invaded the pitch before the match even started, the Apothecary couldn't save Dourgrim Plaguebite when he was taken out early in the game, and things didn't really improve from there.

After the elves scored an early TD in turn 3, we made an equaliser in turn 8, nothing spectacular, just a fairly straightforward running game.

The second half saw Zara ejected from the match, but with the numerical advantage, we had no trouble scoring a quick touchdown. In hindsight, it should have been a stall, probably would have worked out better for both teams in the long run. We kinda expected that there would either be a turnover (due to the numbers), or a quick touchdown, and then a decent chance for us to score again as well. It became a scrappy fight over the ball, which we eventually recovered, only to have Demonette Nightshade make the ultimate sacrifice and give the Duskriders a decent chance at a touchdown.

She paid for it with her life (there was no way that Face Masha was going to let her make such a reckless move and get away with it). In the end, some poor luck meant that the elves didn't get the touchdown either, so we scraped through with a win.

3 pts - #13 Demonette Nightshade
Although it seems my fans weren't so impressed by her actions, she played a pretty important role for the Duskriders. As well as scoring a touchdown in the first half, she was a threat along the sidelines for the whole match, until she strayed a little too close chasing after the ball (which she did succeed in getting to a nice location).

2 pts - #9 Twilight Deathmoth
This fellow was one of the most annoying elves on the pitch. Despite our best efforts, we really struggled to knock him down, and he always seemed to be in the places we didn't want him.

1 pt - #8 Duskwind Strongarm
Top notch thrower. Despite only one completion, the mix of agility and passing ability meant that his team was pretty much able to move the ball anywhere on the field once he had his hands on it. Definitely one to keep an eye on.
