I forgot to make my purchase before the match, so I started with 148 TR, but 130k or so in the bank. Not a big deal, but I was going to replace my niggled Mino. Well, the window comes up saying he's missing the match and I realize what I've done, so I just click through with the plans of asking to start over.
My first thought was 'Evo's a good sport, he won't mind.' Then I started to really think about it. I was already imposing upon him a bit because of time restraints (we had to play a half and finish later, which was a whole different story) and I just plain felt bad taking advantage of good sportsmanship. Tourney or no, I'd made my cake and I was going to lie in it. Or eat my bed. Or something like that.
What a messy bed it was. I lost my Diving Tackler and my other Mino got BH (at least just a BH!) It was ugly. Evo played great and a few skilled 'flings just didn't stand a chance.
It was a really fun game, however. As a personal victory, I got Evo to foul me! I never thought I'd see the day, and I had to convince him, to do it, but there it is!”
