“Well, luck-o-meter says something about my dice ;)

Things looked good when my fireball worked well and I stole the ball from Wotfudboy. What I should have done, was to score. But I started to think about stalling, and I suck at it.

And this time my pet bunny chewed my toes and I got a little distracted and messed up totally. That left my ball carrier open, and Wotfudboy was able to knock it loose.

I managed to stop his attack, so 0-0 when the half time came.

I received the ball, and I was pretty sure that I could score on last turns and seal the victory. But then Nuffle decided something else. My Troll failed his stupidity roll 2 or 3 times in a row (can't remember), and without that Guard my cage was quite fragile. Added with few more bad rolls, it looked bad. And my opponent succeeded in 1db's quite good, and the cage just started to break.

So I needed to switch to back up plan. Too bad I did not had any. So I just scrambled with my Iron Man blitzer, and hoped the best. The battle for the ball was fierce for few turns, and I even got it back once. But Hobgoblin knocked it loose, 1db again. My opponent had a sudden turnover at turn 4 or 5, but I couldn't take advantage on it as I rolled double skulls on my very first roll next turn.

On turn 16 I had a chance to tie the game with flying gobbo, but failed 2db shattered that dream.

note: I had some GOOD luck on meaningles dodges from my SF BOB's. If those are not counted, my luck is even lower than that. Still I blame myself for this loss, as I made a crucial mess up when I should have scored.

And I lost to Energon Eators couple of months ago with my other OCCS team. That time they won with uber-lucky last turns, when the whole game was almost wrapped up. Grr...

Looking for future OCCS tourneys, I really want to beat those guys! :)”
