In an extrordinary match HoM grasped victory from the jaws of defeat with a winning touchdown in the last turn of overtime. From a goal down and labouring under a cloud of doom and gloom the Lothians managed a Herculean effort to progress through to the semi-final.
The Norse men are undoubtedly tough tacklers who are not easy to put down. However the lack of vitamin C in their diets (lack of sunshine reaching their nether regions) means their bones are brittle and once they do go down, they stay down. Two players badly hurt and two seriously injured left the Crusaders severely depleted in the overtime period.
