After facing vampires in the two first rounds the Geckos were now up against a much tougher opponent in the undead Carne, huesos y tu.
Gigatron and his living dead started off best and succeeded with almost anything they attempted initially, which gave them a TD. After that the luck evened out though and the Geckos managed to run in a tie in the final turn of the first half.
In the 2nd half the heavy hitting sauruses had taken their toll, and the opponents slowly but steadily dwindled in numbers. The Geckos used a mix of safe play, dirty tricks and quick runners to outmaneuver the undead, and in the end it gave them the chance to run in a winning TD in the final turn of the match.
The Gothenburg Geckos are now through to the final, and with some money to spare. I will wait and see what kind of opponent I will face before investing them though.
Thanks for the match, gigatron. It was exciting all the way to the very end! :)”

After a very interesting and even first half (1-1), I got 3 casualties ... none of them regenerated! The second half confronted 8 players against 11 (6 blood-thirsty sauruses and a kroxigor), and the ball in his possession ... it was a matter of time to ko half of the remaining players and walk slowly into the end zone.
Congratulations for the Geckos, who played extremely well and gave no chance to the 4-5 undead that were trying desperate actions to recover the ball. I'm afraid it was only exciting for you, Pirog ;-)
