“This was a fantastic match with a lot of excitement. The scoreline does not reflect the sheer amount of excitement generated during this game!

Meteore received the first kick and proceeded to grind their way downfield. They seemed to be gettig nowhere until some inspriational coaching opened things up and players broke for the endzone. At this point the Amazons were reduced to desperate measures and have probably never been so close to conceding a touchdown since their rally after the 3-2 Elves defeat.

Meteore were stopped, but only when a last second touchdown attempt was thwarted by an Amazon linelady inside the endzone!

In the second half, the Amazons received and were able to dummy the defense by loading the far wing up, only to run the ball down the near side! This turn of pace was too much for their creaking bones and a touchdown was scored as a result.

This left the Dead with half the half to score, a tall order. The coach again adopted some unique tactics and sent star Pupo crashing through the Amazon lines with the football! He did his very best, but came up short when looking for the killer pass to set up the score. The coach insists he will keep trying such plays and that Pupo has redoubled his training camp efforts since the game.

All in all, this game deomonstrated what football is all about - skill, turnovers and miracle plays!”
