The Revolution stepped up for another battle against Synn and a rematch against the Goats.

Game starts off with the kickoff result Get the Ref in Synn's favor and things look bleak for our heroes right from the start. Elves swing to the weak side of the formation to knock down and foul/kill a beastman while trying to contain the Chaos behind some 2-deep screening. Synn's dp is doing his work when early on he is left exposed to an assisted blitz. Elves knock him down, foul him to an SI MNG, and breath a sign of relief... when they are surprised by the apo jumping out to erase the injury. I thought Synn was nuts at the time, but in hindsight the move devastated the elves. Elves manage to take out a CW before their numbers run short and the Goat's score after clearing the pitch.

Elves receive to start the 2nd half with only 6 players. We sellout a screen to one side to protect a catcher that grabbed a bad kick. Synn is able to jam the catcher but Singh is able to one die him away and allow him to dodge for the equalizer. 1-1.

Elves set up to defend with only 6 again and suffer a bad kick of their own. Singh takes a huge (but necessary) risk of jumping into the Chaos cage to lay the 2-die red on a CW (w/o surehands) holding the ball and a doubleblockpows are rerolled into double dodgepows to free the ball. Singh scoops and runs for daylight. Goats need 8 dice to knock him down and when the dp strolls over to put in the boot he is quickly spotted without even scratching Singh. Singh dodges, scoops, and handsoff to a waiting catcher for the score. 2-1.

6 elves again on defense and another bad kick. Goat takes the ball and runs down the sideline as the defenders are bashed. Wisely scores the following turn as Singh survives a blitz and stands in striking distance. 2-2.

Elves get some ko's back so it's now 7 on 9 in the home stretch. Perfect defense sees the elves jammed by a wall of ugly on their turn 6. A massive amount of dodging succeeds and the elves have 4 in scoring range (3 to one side and 1 alone) and 3 back to hold the ball. A CW marks the lone lineman and the rest of the pack gives chase. Singh leaps over the attackers and makes a gfi to push the CW off the lone lineman. Thrower runs up and needs to avoid an int and make a 3+ long pass but rolls 3 (-1) rerolls into a 2 (-1) to fumble away opportunity to catch, move, and hold for a turn 8 winning score. +ag CW pushes away the thrower, grabs the ball, and waits for the hit. Two elves mark the CW and Singh pushes him away (but doesn't follow up to avoid catching the strip) to free the ball. San Martin attempts to dodge away to try and get the marked ball for a pass to a waiting catcher, but a 1 is rerolled into a 1 on the dodge. Goats clear, scoop, handoff and score for the turn 8 win. 2-3.

Another memorable match!

Just can't pull off the win against Synn when the teams are on the higher end of the spectrum. Loss is the 2nd against the Goats for the Revolution as they have been unable to beat any of Synn's teams in their history. I'll get my rematch soon enough and someday maybe I'll walk away from it with a victory!?!
