In the first, Paris was severely reprimanded by coach Prasomchai for killing Knight Renraw! Apparently she 'forgot it was a friendly'...'Needless to say, her salary for the game was confiscated, and she will be doing extra laps round the track all next week. She needs to learn how to behave', coach Prasomchai reported shortly after the incident.

At the close of the half, rather than take an easy score herself, Sakura decided to try out the throwing skills she'd been practising all post-season - only to fumble the ball! The Knights then showed great initiative to recover the ball and get it down field, for an almost-certain score, until a miracle tackle by last lady Emmanuelle turned the football over again. From there, pacy Evangeline rushed the ball all the way back for a Sweethearts score - not chancing to throw it!

In the second, a beautiful move by the Knights saw an unstoppable touchdown - coach thereisaball has obviously expanded his playbook post-season! And again, after a spiritied late Sweethearts drive down the center of the field, some wonderful defensive work by the Kinghts kept the game level.

Says coach Prasomchai, 'I'm glad we played the Knights in a friendly, as they had some nasty formational surprises for tonight. We need to get work on counter measures before we meet them again in the AFL! Full credit to my opponent for his new tactics, they worked a treat - in fact, we could easily have lost this game 2-0, but for Emmanuelle's great last-ditch tackle.'
