His new-found wealth is a bit of a surprise to some, as his team did not fare well in the recent SMACK competition. Others, however, suggest that the coach was behind the astounding 16:1 odds favouring Bacterial Counterculture to make it through to the final . The league commissioner has ordered a full investigation as to why he was not informed as to the obvious fixed odds. Here is the statement that he issued at our press conference:

"There is obviously some underhanded action going on, as no one in their right mind would ever pick the goblins to win a SMACK. I have missed an opportunity to make a lot of money betting on this game, and I'm not happy about it. We will set up a series of tribunals to find out who failed to notify us and extract the payment of the wager we would have placed from them. That is all."

The match in question was a lopsided affair, with no real threats from the Bacterial Counterculture to score. The trolls blamed the goblins for infecting them with E. Coli. The goblins blamed the coach (who, it should be noted, was shouting encouragement to the Smackos as they rumbled up the pitch). The coach was unreachable for comment as he was at his newly purchased property putting up signs reading "No Goblins allowed" and "TROLLZ! CATCH GOBLIN, U GET FUD".”
