“the home runners had been out of the game for a while and the coach decided to throw his team in the deep end. they started off well, taking out a big guy in the first turn. After surviving the first of the brutal attacks from chaos and after some good dodging, sara positioned herself in the end zone, wakka managed to bring the ball back to flem who managed to fling the ball to sara in the end zone. TOUCHDOWN RUNNERS!! a few turns later and the chaos pact gutter runner stood near the end zone watching his vile compatriots beat the stuffing out the runners, however in a turn of fortune another big guy, the minotaur was surrounded and caught one on the back of the head, taking him out for the rest of the game. At the same time, flem decided to catch the gutter runner off guard and charged at him, unfortunately he couldn't knock him down. It looked like the gutter runner would get a touchdown for the chaos team but as he darted the tackle and moved towards the touchdown flem recovered and managed to trip the skaven up while smashing his fist into his back as he fell, gollum couldn't participate for the rest of the game. the chaos team had their revenge though, taking out 2 runners just before half time. 1-0 up at half time and things looked good.
The second half didn't start as well, the runners losing another 2 players for the rest of the game, one of them didn't look like they'd make the next game either. luckily the chaos pact also lost another 2 members. then oly got taken out of the game, and possibly the next one. the runners fought valiantly but dwindling numbers made it difficult, finally the chaos team broke through and scored, leveling the score. The game was in the dying seconds and the runners didn't have time to score again, but decided to make the most of the time. knocking aside the two big guys the runners surrounded the witch king and beat him into a bloody pulp. he was declared dead but the chaos apothercay had a look and him, injected something into him and muttered some magic words and the witch king, a little groggy came to his senses.
The game ended 1-1 and was a very enjoyable game :)”
