With only 9 starting elves to face against the full force of the Necromancers and their wolves, it might be hard to imagine anything other than one result. Even more so when there were just 7 elves left on the pitch after turn one.

The first undead drive was extremely solid, stomping down the field meeting little resistance; 1-0 by turn 5.

However the elves showed their blood and still created chances, Strongarrow sprinting downfield to receive a pass only to, inexplicably, fail his catch, but the TD was still multiple difficult dodges away.

The elves started the 2nd half with just 6 players, and no throwers. Strongarrow vented his frustration in a positive way, determinedly taking out Gloop for the rest of the game. Chances of a TD were still slim though, until, with just 4 turns left Guinea failed his catch, leaving the ball next to a prone elf inside the Never Ahand half! Successful pickup and go, can he make it!?

Computer says no, Strongarrow gets knocked out and loses the ball to a wolf, and a turn later, hey presto no more elves. With others milling around in confusion at exactly what to do against no opposition, team captain Krige pulled the strings, ordering all to take the opportunity for some passing practice under crowd pressure, and then for Fischer Price to gain some valuable experience by finishing the move off with a TD.

MotM for the elves goes to Strongarrow, that guy is one determined elf, never stopped trying.
