“These two teams were promoted from the same regional league but until tonight have never faced off. It promised to be a big game and it didn't disappoint.

Fearing the damage the Norse could do to their soft rotting flesh, the undead decided to bribe the taxi driver who was bringing the ref, he wouldn't arrive until the second half. Dirk Condor made the most of this opportunity and managed 4 dirty plays, though largely he was ineffective delivering only on game ending boot on Urderluck.

It was the Norse that scored first despite the undead receiving the kick-off, the Collision didn't dominate the LOS, and the Norse managed to sneak past and some wonderful moves by Brundein saw the ball delivered to Gliunnar for the TD. A horrible attempt to blitz by Ed on Crash, left him crumpled and broken, he will require another week to rest.

From here, the Collision bashed and busted their way down the field. It wasn't pretty, but it was effective. Star import Count Von Drakenborg was the one to ensure the ball crossed the line, and he did it reliably. Undead and Norse were falling all over the ground, on the way to the line the Count sank the boot i to nasty Blitzer Einarr but unluckily he was only KO'ed, after the short break following the TD, Einarr roused himself and re-entered the field of battle.

The second half began with the Norse breaking down the wing, they formed a box and waited for catcher Giunnar to come running forward with the ball...he wasn't able to make the catch, possibly due to crowd interference, he is the only one that knows what caused the drop. The rest of the half was dominated by the Collision, who were able to run the ball away, and left the majority of the violence behind them. Giunnar played a wonderful defensive game, never giving in to insurmountable odds he was seen to duck and dodge and block superbly, almost single handedly preventing the game winning TD. It wasn't to be though, and it was the Count that carried the ball over the line for the win.

Mo Mentum's perfect record of playing in every game for the Collision came to an end...he was RIP'ed by Einarr and will be sorely missed. Diesel also picked up a niggling injury after the game. An expensive win for the Collision but a win none-the-less.
