“SWL Season XX - Premier League - Round 7

Unfortunately, I can't give this match the write-up it deserves. A poor internet connection, and lack of time to write it up straight away means that I don't have a good enough recollection of the match (and the replay is well and truly broken).

Anyway, as is pretty obvious from the 2/2/2 cas against, things went pretty poorly for the girls. All I really remember is that we started the second half with 7 or 8 players, and the regulars got the ref. By the middle of the second half, we were score-less, and down to 3 or 4 players. To ensure the win (I had 4 KOs), danielcollins played it safe and scored in turn 16.

Some would say that she had an easy job of it this match (and I guess that would be true), but no one can deny that her role was critical in ensuring the touchdown went smoothly.

2 pts - #5 Paul
Honestly, I can't be sure which dwarves did the most damage, but considering he had more than twice as many blocks as anyone else, and a cas to his name, it seems likely that Paul was one of them. In addition to the 6 casualties (mostly from fouls - no twahnlow votes there!), there were plenty of KOs that played a part in reducing our numbers for the match.

I certainly can't say whether he did much damage, but he probably got a KO or two in, and i distinctly remember those stand firm dwarves getting in the way a time or 3.

Dishonorable mentions - #8 Nat and #11 Lauren II
The key to the success of the regulars in this match, Nat and Lauren put in more than their share of fouls, ensuring that we never had the numbers needed to compete in the second half.
