“Last weeks abandoned game gave head coach DeFresa time to train the two Treemen in the art of flinging 'flings. The Treemen enjoyed this new tactic as it meant they could be heavily involved in the game without having to move (always number 1 on a Treeman's list of priorities).

All the extra training wasn't really in evidence when the teams went off at half time with the score 2-0 to the Night Crawlers and another whitewash looked on the cards. In the second half though, they looked a different team and not just because half of them weren't fit enough to take to the field. The newly perfected "Flying Flings" tactic leading to the Maffia winning the second half 2-1.

A great morale booster for Moot Maffia, the game (from the Maffia's perspective) only being marred by the death, from an Illegal Drugs overdose, of team hard-man Coffin-Nails Nelson.

With some more organised defending, the Maffia may have the potential to cause one or two upsets in this league.”
