“Oh my goodness but did St. Louis get psyched up for the playoffs! The norse ended up throwing 88 blocks during the game - almost all were 2d blocks...and the CAS came early and often. Still in the first quarter, a dwarf blitzer got his jaw broken...apoth rushed onto the field...but failed to save him...at that point, it was all downhill for the dwarves. Just moments later a longbeard was tossed into the crowd and his eye gouged out. The ST 4 longbeard was then sent to the sidelines for the game...and still in the first half, Mark Howe was killed. The bloody destruction left only 9 dwarves for the second half and they just could not compete with the angry and hungry norse that repeated slammed them to the turf...another niggling injury was caused...and the last few turns found the dwarves all laying on the ground as the norse moved in for the final score - skilling 2 important players along the way.

Afterwards, the players were already looking ahead...the dreaded Khermi were next...but St. Louis was ready - it was playoff time and nothing was going to be held back now!”
