“Don't let the match report fool you. This game was even more lopsided than it looked. I went into the game without remembering one of the cardinal rules against agile teams: Control the ball. My players did not play as a team, were often isolated and stomped into the pitch by Candlejack's elves. The casualties came in the second half, when my blocks were a little better. During the second half, the elves scored with me recieving 3 times, each time showing me exactly how my strategy and tactics were deficient.
On a positive note, a one-sided beating like this is usually very expensive in terms of damage to the team. On that note, and on that note alone, I came out ahead. 1 BH, and one (treated) SI against the injuries to the elves. This was about as good a learning experience as one could ask for, under the circumstances. ”
