#11 Rib Krakka – Smashed Knee (NI)
SWL Season XXI - Southside Stone Smashers Conference League - Round 5

Frustration central this match. My PC was particularly unreliable, and crashed approximately 5-6 times over the course of the match. Thanks again for your patience Dark_Lord. (My new box is sitting next to me in pieces ... hopefully this was the last game with my this useless motherboard).

First half saw several opportunities for us to get at the ball carrier, the first attempts were nothing too special - 1d hits and the like, and they took a bit of good luck to get to (such as multiple 2d against blocks on the beast to free up players). Eventually though, persistance won out, and a mis-click left one of the beastmen (Scarface?) flat on his face. Needless to say, we took advantage of the beastman's error in judgement, and secured the ball, taking it in for a touchdown in turn 8.

Half time score: 1-0

With the lead at half time, we went with the direct approach, and went straight in for a touchdown. A little bit of luck to get there, and we scored again in turn 3.

By this time we were really starting to get low on numbers. Crippler had lived up to his name, dealing out 2 casualties by this stage, but it was Rotterwhore that did the crippling injury (leaving Rib Krakka with some permanent damage). There was little chance of us stopping a touchdown, and rather than try, we basically went into preservation mode, simply trying to minimise the blocks against us.

With mounting frustration, the abominations took the ball in for a touchdown, and we left it at that.

Full time score: 2-1

------------------- Twahnlow Votes -------------------

3 pts - #11 Crippler
We tried to foul him (obviously not hard enough), but he wouldn't die. With 3 cas from 9 blocks, it's pretty obvious where his name comes from (and why he's getting the votes).

2 pts - #16 Blackbart
ST 5, Block and guard makes this rotter perfect for his task. Combined with the other ST4 on the team, and the beast, it was very hard for me to get effective hits in. Tough as nails.

1 pt - #6 Creeper
The 'go to' man for the abominations when it comes to ball handling. Certainly a key player on the team, and he took the touchdown in with ease.
