“A fun and not too brutal match between the Midnighters and the Legends. The undead got a good start when they BH'd the ogre on a foul in round one (at the cost of losing the dirty player) and could achieve their first TD in turn 5. WarlordBob responded with a completly crazy turn 8 dodge streak through my defences, past my tackler and over the end zone line...and to that I lost my ST 4 warewolf and the zombie guard due to sweltering heat.

The Midnighters got the chance to blitz the ball carrier with my strip ball specialist early in the 2nd half though and I snatched up the ball with the ghoul. Then I somewhat cowardly stalled my way to a 2-1 victory, afraid of risking another freak TD from WarlordBob.

Both teams walked away without cripples which is also nice and the Midnighters are now very primed for the Orca-Cola Cup in November. They will have the month of in October since I want to try my chances of entering with a poorly built elf team, hehe. That's likely going to get bloody. To prepare for that bloodfest the Midnighters sacrificed their resurrected elf Paul Federn, which put them at just the right TR level.
