“This was just a weird game. I feel if I was anything else other than Woodies, I'd have lost handsomely.
I had two specific moments of fantastic luck (2db POW ---> BH ---> ball to crowd thrown to Catcher, 1-0, and Injury Time for 2-1) and one turn where I avoided ones (for 3-2), and some great kickoffs, but other than that, boy did my lads stink. I guess the luckometer doesn't show it all, but other than these flashes, it was a hard slog of ones and Skulls, and I'm not sure any other race would have been able to convert these chances to win like the Woodies can.
Wotfud is too good a coach not to beat me soon - it's coming. He deserved a draw here, I'm always a fan of positive coaches like he is - he could have very easily stalled for a safe 2-2, but pushed on to win. I always respect that, and feel this kinda coaching deserves the bit of luck he didn't get at the death.

Another tournament, another game vs Purplegoo, another loss... will I ever beat this guy??
The WE's kicked in the 1st half... I got the ball but it had landed at the back of the field... and unfortunately the wood elves were able to get to the ball carrier, BH my only surehands ghoul, grab the ball and delay a little and then scored.
Basically it was an uphill battle from there... Purplegoo had another kick that went into the corner... (his kicking was excellent)... In comparison I kept kicking the ball off field...
Then my Tackle Wight blitzed a wardancer.... rolled a skull and both down, rerolled... 2 skulls... and died!... fortunately the regen kicked in!
However Goo used up rerolls like they were sweeties...
It was a torrid game for the undead, and they've let the side down.
