An early play saw his attempt at a quick score twarted when his runner tripped, his players trapped on the side, and the ball on the sideline. Several orcs guarded the ball directly, with most of my team surrounding the area. dogfood's Rat Ogre blitzes in, hits down one of the guards. He then does a 1d block with his lino (no block) vs my lino (with block), succeeds on reroll. The ball gets pushed, and through a series of fumbles and bounces, ends up cought (required 6, rolls 6) in the hands of another one of his linos. The lino makes a dodge, and scores.

Easily the luckiest play of the game.

I had some poor luck in my block rolls and my passing game. Although I got some good CAS in the 1st, in the entire 2nd I just couldn't seem to hurt any rats. I broke a fair bit of armor, but only managed stuns, which, while useful, are not nearly as handy as even a KO.

Mugorim, my passing, accurate orc thrower just could not hit the broad side of a barn. He attempted 3 or 4 passes throughout the game, and only managed to make one. It was pretty sad.

Maybe if that first play had gone differently it would've been a 2-2 tie, but it's hard to say, really.
