“A pretty good game!

Qaz got off to the best possible start by BH'ing a BOB and Troll (who regenerated). I was able to put a little pressure on the ball, scooping it up, but I never had it for long as the Bull took me out!

I tried to stop the CD advance, I got a few chances but the Orcs couldnt take them, but Qaz got a well deserved TD late in the half!

There was still time to try to get a TTM, the kick was pretty kind to me, meaning I could move the gob over the ball on a Quick Snap, all looked set, everyone was ready, apart from the Troll that is! (he did remember what he was supposed to do, but only during the half time break!)

2nd half started and I was hoping to score quickly, to try to push for the 2-1 (hobbos were starting to drop like flies). But alas no! Blitz! And a good kick! The Bull raced into the backfield and put me under pressure, fortunately, we managed to stun the Bull with a foul, which got caught, and we got the ball also. So began the slow advance. Qaz, being the excellent coach he is, managed to knock the ball loose, with the Bull being an everpresent pain in the rear! He looked set to turn me over, but a string of bad dice let himdown and I was able to break free.

I got overconfident in my dice and gifted him an opportunity to take out the ballcarrier,when I skulled out when I shouldnt have blocked at all, and he duly took it! He grabbed the ball and almost made the pass to his Bull, which would have meant a certain 2-0 victory for him, but how relieved was I when the Bull had a case of butterfingers? Very relieved!

1-0 down, 0 rr left, turn 8, it was last gasp stuff, there was one player free, the SF Blitzer, in range to score, so que a lucky streak of rolls to dodge, pickup in a TZ, dodge out, Long Pass, catch and run in for a TD on T8, Due to my error before I surely didnt deserve it!

An extremely enjoyable games, and I think I did pretty well holding Qaz, who is one of FUMBBL's top coaches (IMHO!) to a draw, even if it meant a streak of lucky dice even Peter_Thorpe (PS: Hi Thorpe!) or any other CR130 noob would be proud of!
