“Well this game was always going to be made a bit easier thanks to some good work from Joe Kano and his Chaos lads but no-one quite expected this.
The Woodies were absolutely rampant. After 2 seasons in the wilderness of the conferences the Men of Wood made the intentions very clear straight from the get go.
Le Franky was showing the fans why management went to such extremes to bring him over and coupled with Smoker J running a near perfect offence the WDDs were nigh on unstoppable.
Toshiba and Brown Fish were giving plenty of support to The Big Man the Gauls just could never get in any sort of groove.
Fulliautomatix and Asterix worked dam hard for their TDs but a few mistakes from the rest of team got punished every time.
If the Woodies can maintain this level of play for the rest of the season then their could be some big parties at the end of the year.

3pts: Fulliautomatix - Was the only Gaul to give as much as he got. Altough he did not manage to do any damage at least he knocked a couple of Elves over.
2pts: Asterix - Gets he 2pts for his TD. He had players surrounding him on the sideline but he was calm and collected and added some respect to the scoreline
1pt: Justforkix - JFK gets 1 point for having a hand in both TDs even though a couple of his mistakes cost the Gaulsa couple of TDs as well.
Cheers for the game Shanks it was always going to be tough for you with so many players injured and with nuffle favouring me it became impossible. All the best for the season mate i hope the Gauls stay up.”

The Gauls premiership debut, but after coping a bashing in the casualty count in the last game of last season, it was their turn to take a bashing on the scoreboard. Fielding just 11 and up against the glamour boys of the comp and red-hot title favourites, it was no contest from the get-go. Wineanspirix left the field early, clearly imbibing too liberally pre-match.
It was a training run for the woodies who scarcely missed a block, a pass or a pick-up all day. The Gauls muffed a couple of passes which cost them the chance at another couple of TD's but they were made to look ordinary next to their classy opponents.

3 Points. Le Franky. His effort went something like blitz, POW, POW, blitz, POW, TD, POW, TD, blitz, POW, TD, POW, Pass, blitz, POW, TD, TD, POW, ..... well you get the picture. I'm sure I've missed a few POWs and TDs in there but after a while it just became a blur.
2 Points. Smoker J. His effort went something like, pickup, pass, dodge, dodge, pickup, pass, pass, dodge, dodge. dodge, dodge ..... dodge, pickup, pass, dodge ..... aaaaargh! You work it out!

A humbling experience all round. Short of suffering significant numbers of casualties, I can't see you being headed for the title Erik. Good Luck.
