“Now THIS is what a SMACK final is all about! It was like a fight between two boxers standing toe-to-toe, neither one backing down, each throwing everything they had at the other. Two dwarves gave their lives to the cause, including back-to-back block/foul actions to end the first half. Without an apo and him with twin DP's and those monster mummies, I figured to be in a world of hurt.

But over halftime our doc secretly sewed in extra iron plates beneath our players' jerseys, giving them the protection they needed to remain on pitch the entire second half. The little iron left over he placed in the gloves of our troll, who went absolutely bonkers bashing left and right. Towards the end of the second half I was up 1-0, he had 4 players on pitch, I had 5 guys surrounding a loose ball...and he somehow without rerolls dodged, scooped, dodged some more and sprinted for paydirt to force OT.

Third half of the match the undead are kicking to me, and a bad kick gives us a free pickup. A couple ko's and a cas later, there was only 4 undead to 10 cd on the pitch, and it became academic to walk slowly to victory lane.

My first ever victory in a smack final (I was 0-3 in previous smack finals), our CD still have not lost a match at 12-3-0, and I'm just flying high as a kite! Bring on the FC (scheduled for this Saturday, time TBD)...”
