“Penal League II - Semi Final

The Bloods hit the pitch eager to prove themselves in this prison league. The more experienced and trained Oswald Prison Team were looking to maul the Bloods and had the means to do it. First Half they set their strategy in motion and got two solid TD's. The dice were appalling for the bloods and oswald capitalized on this. 2nd half was looking grim...

After a hefty half-time talk by the coach the Bloods got fired up once more never conceeding defeat. They hit the pitch in full stride and played like daemons stealing the ball several times from the Oswaldians. Oswalds were confident in their game and started passing it around making a mockery of the Bloods but a few mistakes saw the Bloods score 2 quick TDs and a 3rd OT half was played.

Luckily the Bloods got to receive and started an erratic offence. Neither team could prove themselves and both teams chased the ball round the pitch, a ball that seemingly was greased by some sabotaging gobbos. A lucky break gave the Bloods the ball and a dodge later the Bloods had scored 3-2!

This game had it all, blood, guts, sweat and tears. A turn around game for the Bloods worth mentioning in the best of crowds ;)”
