“This match was somewhere between competitive and training. Foresttim is still learning the game, so the best solution was to "rough him up" a little.

The 1st half was dedicated to chain pushes and surfing. After 3-4 turns he figured it out, at which point the elves took the ball and did the elf thing, scored.

The second half started with a surf (funnily enough,all the Surfs were bloodless), and then we combined a bit of strategic blocking with a running game, opening holes in his defence and punching through.

All in all, Foresttim had 2 nice opportunities to break away from the melee and attempt a TD, but was so focused on pounding my elves he forgot about trying to win the match.
