“This game was crazy, my opponents report is pretty much spot on. 1'st half I think I would of prevented him scoring but i failed 5 BH rolls in a row on one turn which allowed him to get set up. OT was fun, but I think I should of taken it slower and I would of won it. His Mino went crazy and kept knocking down my ball goblin. Thanks for the match and while this team is going to be retired due to INJ I'll have a similar team for the next RR”

“This was one of the craziest matches I've been involved in. First half I received and the dice were all with me. I killed an ogre and a goblin, and seriously injured another, while KOing a further two greenskins. In reply WardenUSA had a blocker KOd. Despite Warden knocking over the ball carrier a couple of times, and me picking it up again with an AG2 blocker and dodging clear with another, I scored in turn 8 with a hobgoblin. I hadn't used a single reroll, which was nasty.
Second half, the dice changed a little. The ogres managed to get a couple of badly hurts themselves, against one SI by me, and despite me again dodging clear with a chaos dwarf and smacking over the ball carrier, WardenUSA was able to equalise in turn 15.
And so to extra time. I was chosen to kick, and thought my number was up. The ogres forgot about being boneheaded and proceeded to knock over players every block. I was able to knock the goblin over a couple of times, but eventually WardenUSA ran it clear. It looked all over. The only player I had left to blitz? The minotaur. He dodges clear and KOs the offending goblin, but has to go down himself in the process.
It wasn't over, as the remaining goblin picks it up again and I am forced to blitz again with the minotaur, taking the both down. There's still time for WardenUSA to pick the ball up, move three squares next to an ogre, he passes his bonehead, moves and picks up the blighter before throwing him sailing.... one square short of the endzone.
It would have been a fitting way to win the match. I'm not saying I wouldn't have been gutted, I would have been furious, but it would have been cool after I had calmed down. Very good game, with players going off the pitch at an alarming rate. I finished with 6 and the ogres 7. Crazy. And I owe WardenUSA a beer....”
