“Our ELF season continues with us trying to take down some scary Khemri. Last time we took 9 casualties trying vs khemri!! This time we've brought a wizard to help ensure victory, and will get more points regardless because it's a baseline match.

The khemri receive and form a classic cage halfway back in their own half. We surround with blodgers/sidesteppers and a turn later unleash the wizard! This lets us grab with our catcher and sprint downfield. We can easily score but decide to stall a little so the khemri have less chance to score back, though in the end they defend well and it gets a little dodgy (several 2+ rolls without RR) to ensure we make it, scoring on turn 7. We manage to foul their DP to the ko box in our final turn so he'll miss the kick off for the 2nd half, hooray!

We set up 11 after 3/5 wake up from the KO box with two wake up calls. The undead get a blitz but with their mummies tied up on the LOS it's not as nasty as it might have been- mostly annoying cos they can reposition their players to counter our setup. However we hold on alright at the back and then dodge through a catcher and lob him over the ball - after this slightly dodgy turn it's pretty much curtains for the khemri as we run back and forth around their endzone while they try and cause some injuries to force us to score. Eventually they start getting back and we score on our 6th turn, making it 2-0 and leaving just 3 turns to the khemri.

A nice long throw from their thrower on their 2nd last turn gives them a chance to score but we cover nicely - forcing them to attempt a blitz with 2 4+ dodges - which they make! They are unlucky in the bounce though as a hapless skeleton catches it who has already moved.
