The first drive saw some fortune on both sides of the ball but culminated in a suspicious crowd return of the ball into the waiting arms of the oposing thrower, who then lobbed a simple pass to a wide open catcher for the TD.

From that point however fortune stayed in the direction of the 'Swampies'. Looking to be in trouble our man Quirk proved elusive and skilled in dodging away from tacklers and throwing a long bomb for the score in the dying moments of the first half.
