“Bucaneers take down No Worse Luck Last night 3-1

Buccaneers go into the game trying to stay on top of the fringe and playing woodelves, the Bucs allways seem to have problems with Woodelves, so the anxiety was a little high. Plus the added pressure of trying to get a brownie point in the Passers bood of grudges was allways on the back of our minds. never known when you will need to cash in on a brownie point when it comes to dwarves will come in handy.

NWL stated the game off in typical elf fashion, quick stike down the field and BAM up 1-0 before the Bucs can even react. The Bucs trying to keep up with the elves respond with a quick score of their own. We then try a new Defense out for the second kick and grind the elves to a stall and recover a turnover and score on 1/8.

Bucs get the ball in the second half and play hide and seek with the ball for the entire half. The Bucs Guarded the ball carrier and never let the elves have better than a 1/2 block on the ball carrier. But the elves did manage to get the ball out twice in the second half but bad luck for the elves and a fortunate tackler in the right spot saved the day.

Was a well played match Gonk, you gave it a run and allmost came out on top.

*Bucs get very fortunate with the Injury chart this game. One kill on a 1BD KaPowie, a Kill on a solo foul with out DP. and another SI from my thrower just trying to make some room for the ball carrier.
*Brungor was a total waste this game. He just ran around using his guard and only threw one block. I was so paranoid of having turnovers against the elves that I totally gimped him for the game.
*Skilled up three guys and am ready for the final stretch run in the fringe, all my remaining games are going to be tough and Iam going to have to win Fringe the old fashion way, on the pitch.
