“Perhaps one of the most brutal, craziest, yet most fun matches I've had in a long time, Coach Betinho's High Elfs put up one heck of a battle today.

After overcoming a brutal turn 1, where in the Almighty Sarlacc killed one elf, creating a rotter and suffering an injury from a turn 1 foul, the High Elfs did managed to get to the ball and score first, taking a 1-0 lead at the end of the first half. It came at a price though, as injuries and KO's wiped out half their team.

Starting the second half fumbling the pick up of the ball, the Elves found themselves once again staring at the Almighty Sarlacc, a rotter and a beastman who had closed in on the ball. Despite some good blocking by the elves, the ball ended up in the hands of the rotter: Tusken Raider, who managed to rumble in for a TD score. The Pit of Carkoon managed to steal the ball away from the high elves late in the 2nd half, only to have the ball carrier fall short, tripping as he was racing to the endzone.


The battle raged into overtime, and with both teams out of rerolls, the Pit of Carkoon got the ball. The Almighty Sarlacc again made it's presence felt and took down yet another elf, adding a 2nd rotter to the team. The brutality was just too much for the elves, who desperately tried their best to get to the ball, but it was too late for them. Stalling out time, Bib Fortuna managed to score the game winner at the end of the overtime period.

What a crazy match. Dice at the end failed the elves, though really neither team could claim any more luck than the other in this one, the dice were equally bad.
