#9 Bellua V – Dead (RIP)
#12 Auris II – Broken Ribs (MNG)
#12 Auris II – Smashed Knee (NI)
Game 54

Schola won the toss and elected to receive. The Ogre Agrak who was left on the front line, was isolated, knocked over then gang fouled. A horrendous injury followed which saw the apothecary racing out to fix it (successfully). The very next turn saw him gang fouled again, this time placing him in the Badly Hurt box. Turn 3 saw one of the norse knock himself over attempting to block. Some tricky frenzy blocking from the norse saw severe pressure placed on the ball, but Dominus Mortifer managed to easily clear the pack and score on turn 6. More tricky frenzy blocking from the norse and an open window to score was available, taking the score to 1-1.

The second half saw a well timed side switch outmaneuver the outnumbered Chaos team for another easy TD, bringing the score to 2-1 for the Norse. Starting the last drive with only 9 players, Schola pulled out all stops, seriously injuring all three players left on the LoS. This pulled the numbers down to a mangeable margin and Dominus Mortifer was able to trot a second TD in to tie the game on the last turn.

1 - #10 Stanislev Lehman - He was in the right place at the right time to get the Norses first TD

#2 Tormilev Hellski – Dead (RIP)
#4 Oleg Smelkin – Smashed Knee (NI)
Don't remember too much from this game, but I remember what it meant. The White Stallions were very confident of promotion, missing out the season before due to some coaching areas, their tales were up and ready for a great season.

This was the season starter and the start of a horrendous run. The stallions really do suffer when they don't win the toss which is what happened here, and at least 5 times per season for the next 3 seasons. The mighty team crumbled to a team 45 ts down.

Schola did a great job and it was the start of the recovery they needed, where for the Stallions it was the start of a longslide of TS dropping.

In history I think of this as the match that started the 'time of misery' in the town of Stalingrad.

Twahnelows

3- Diripio II #13 whose boots were as sharp as he claimed.

2 - Dominus Nex II #3 3 casualties really hurt.

1 - Dominus Mortifier II #5 2 touchdowns can't be bad.
