The Elves had the ball from the kickoff and were doing quite well keeping it away from Schola. After a bit of pressure however they made a rash push for the TD line and left the ball carrier unprotected from a blitz. Schola safely caged the ball back up the pitch for a T8 touchdown.
Kicking off in the second half, the Screamers were down to 9 elves and Schola were receiving. A solid no risk drive from the Chaos team down the pitch gave the second TD, and sealed the game for a win to Schola.

When your backs against the wall and you've nothing left to lose a foul can serve two purposes. It might work. and it might save the player for the next game. If he gets caught. It didnt work and curiously not many got caught until it no longer mattered. Thanks nuffle.
Not having a DP I knew i wasn't going to do much damage to Schola fouling but it was fun to have a crack at it anyway. Like much of this teams history this game had little chance it was going to go right anyway so what the hell...
Playing down 30pts in ts AND tr, and only ten hale players was always a challenge and when every time your touched up you get an armour break what the hell can ya do.
I took a calculated risk and it didnt come off..One player could get to him on gfi twice and even if I went down i was fair chance to get the ball back with what i had round it so long as armour didnt shatter again...oh yeh thats right. It shattered, again.
Considering my ballcarriers normally seem to go down despite someone needing two 6 plus dodges and then two dice my choice and they dbl pushpow and they have tackle or its a non dodger they are hitting leaving them exposed is probably something that works more often.
I had little interest in playing the game and had had quite enough of playing Schola...yet again, and again having Schola rip my team up....yet again. At least i now have the record of most fouls given to Schola . 9 . wow.
Historically Schola meeting one of my teams has usually turned into a blood fest of violent attrition and a run away win for one or the other and this was no different. Interesting head to head record.
