DC won the drive and got Illegal Drugs, beefing up OI into a +ST Guard Standfirm Dodge monster. The kick, dc got the first (of three!) extra rerolls. But he'd need them :)

DC pushed forward, and I tried to position my elves to halt the grinding advance. I had a chance for a 1 die block near the 4th turn, took it and managed to take down Nat, snatching the ball from amongst the jaws of danger (good ole Thumbscrews!) and getting it to Paris. We also managed to KO Sarah which helped immensely.

Dodging around and pushing back DC where we could, we managed to sneak some elves past his defence. DC had all sorts of issues, with Skulls and failed dodges making things easier. The Bill took the spp, 1-0.

With only two turns to score, DC focused on bashing and fouling, and got another reroll on the kickoff. Sunrise got BH’d but thankfully no other major injuries occurred, although two elves were KO’d and we would be light on for the 2nd half. 1-0.

The kick, and DC got his third reroll :). We went for the sideline, trying to get rid of Pete, but he stuck around. With Comfy Chair hanging around our backline with the ball, we tried to push forward slowly for the second TD. DC pushed us nearer and nearer the crowd, so we decided to do something tricky, and set up a double crowdsurf with Brittany. While only a stun and KO occurred, it meant we had a slight player edge….but boy did it leave our players in danger of being surfed themselves!! Brittany was pushed into the maelstrom but was only KO’d. Sensing the peril as DC closed on 3 other players, we picked out Rat Cage standing by himself and Comfy Chair threw accurately. 2 GFI’s and we had it. 2-0. Luckily!

This time, we got a Reroll on the kick and DC tried to set up for a consolation TD. We stopped one advance, and Nat managed to trip over and break something vital when trying to GFI to the ball. We tried to get to the ball, but DC got their first. Itching to use the Wizard, we held back, only to leave a gap in our defence. It allowed Lauren to throw to Arabelle who caught the ball! Wisely, DC scored and our wiz was wasted. 2-1.

Our drive and the Wiz knocked over a few dwarves but did nothing. We couldn’t hurt the dwarves and they couldn’t hurt us. 2-1, the final result.

Bad luck dc, there were some terrible skulls and die there for you. All the best against Erik next game, give him hell!
